Weekly leads and insights for Amazon, Walmart & eBay resellers

Welcome to The Sourcing Report

You're now getting weekly product leads and sourcing insights delivered straight to your inbox - no fluff, just actionable finds you can profit from.

I'm Ronald, founder of SDC Deals. I've been reselling part-time for years and did about $400K in sales last year across Amazon, Walmart, and eBay - all while working a full-time job.

Every week you'll get:

  • A profitable product example with real margins
  • A sourcing tip or strategy
  • Links to my latest podcast episodes

Let's dive in.

🎙️ This Week's Episode

Which Reselling Model Is Right For You?

In my latest podcast, I break down the four main reselling models - wholesale, private label, retail arbitrage, and online arbitrage - and explain why one of them stands out for beginners (and even experienced sellers) in 2025.

The quick summary:

Wholesale sounds great - unlimited inventory, repeatable orders, stable pricing. But you need supplier approval, warehouse space, and serious capital upfront. Not ideal for starting out.

Private Label gives you full control and no competition on your listings. But manufacturing costs, overseas lead times, and expensive advertising make it a money pit until you scale.

Retail Arbitrage has the lowest barrier to entry - just walk into a store and start scanning. But it's time-consuming, awkward, and hard to scale when you're hunting for deals one barcode at a time.

Online Arbitrage is where I've landed - and where I think most people should start. You can source from anywhere, anytime, compare multiple stores at once, and it works incredibly well with automation.

The game changer? Web scraping. Instead of scanning products one by one, I download thousands of products, match them to Amazon with 99% accuracy, and let AI rank the best opportunities. I can scan 1,000 products in 15 minutes and wake up to a spreadsheet of profitable finds.

🔥 This Week's Highlight

Here's one example from that Kohl's brand scan:

Converse Chuck Taylor

💡 Quick Tip

The two things that matter most in online arbitrage: ROI and velocity.

A 100% ROI means nothing if the product sits in your inventory for six months. Look for products with solid margins AND a history of consistent sales. That's how you get your capital back fast and reinvest to scale.
